TAPA Jaguar & Land Rover Engines is a specialized remanufacturing operation dedicated exclusively to Jaguar and Land Rover powertrains. We exist to solve a specific, persistent problem: factory-design failures in JLR engines that standard rebuilders cannot permanently fix.
What We Do
We remanufacture Jaguar and Land Rover engines to a proprietary specification we call the Stage 2 Build — a standard that goes beyond OEM in every measurable way. Every engine that leaves our facility has been:
- Fully disassembled and inspected at the component level
- Built on a fortified, reinforced block
- Hand-built and hand-torqued by our specialist technicians
- Fitted with custom-made parts exclusive to TAPA that address known factory failure points
- Dyno-tested before shipping
Our Stage 2 Build directly addresses the most common failure causes in the AJ133 5.0L V8 — including timing chain system failures, head gasket vulnerabilities, and oil starvation issues — as well as failures in the 3.0L Supercharged Gasoline, 3.0L Diesel, and 2.0L Ingenium engine families.
